The year: 1968... The Cold War: freezing...

When a soviet submarine went missing in the Pacific Ocean, the Americans decided they wanted to get their hands on it. 

And they did. Sort of... It required building a giant ship to haul it up! 

Dr Andrew Hammond is the Director of the International Spy Museum based in Washington DC where a few relics from what's called Operation Azorian are kept today.
