"Wildlife Warriors": The stories behind the photos

Through his series 'Wildlife warriors, conservation champions and animal advocates,' conservation photojournalist and zoologist, Doug Gimesy, has captured what happens after Australian wildlife are rescued.

He revealed the stories behind the photos he took, which include a range of people such as wildlife rescuers, environmental and animal welfare advocates, wildlife officers, scientists, rangers, protesters and more, caring for animals.
