5 Lost At Sea
The youngest sailor to circumnavigate the world solo, 21-year-old Jesse Martin, takes five young people on a sailing adventure of a lifetime in search of paradise, but what they discover is far from it.
The journey was to have been three years long and to include the world’s most remote and beautiful places and a 13-part documentary was planned to help fund the trip.
The cameras are always rolling and as his crew explores, they are quickly stripped of their idealism and plunged into reality. They must come to terms with their co-dependence on each other, the paradoxes that bind many of today’s native cultures and their conflicting expectations of paradise and how to get there.
This coming of age story is about dreaming big and ultimately about growing up.
