We've seen many faces – both established and emerging — in theBars of Steel booth and now we're taking the mic out of the studio and into the streets for the very first time.
Introducing: triple j's Bars of Steel Live.
The first space we're taking over with freestyle fire, top talent and blistering bars is smack bang in Parramatta, where we'll be celebrating and showcasing the best that Western Sydney has to offer.
Bars of Steel Live will appear in the area on Saturday 25 May with plenty for the Western Sydney music scene to experience and enjoy.
Hosted by Latifa Tee, Bars of Steel Live is set to take over the car park at 119 Macquarie Street with a huge live gig. You'll be able to catch the likes of Youngn Lipz, A.GIRL, Isaac Puerile, Gold Fang, LEE., Becca Hatch, Vv Pete and more on the big stage across the night.
For those looking to sharpen their skills and learn from industry heavyweights, triple j Unearthed will be running Tapped In in the afternoon around the corner at PHIVE.
The sesh will take you through how to network, build a team, shop out your craft and will come together with a live cypher for anyone who wants to jump in the booth. Want in? Check out the Unearthed website for more information.
We've got a bunch of special guests coming through, too! Zion Garcia, Shanae, SOLLYY and Ashli will all be bringing bulk vibes to the area on Saturday.
The best thing about all of this? Bars of Steel Live is 16+ and totally free. If you can get to Western Sydney this Saturday, make sure you register for a ticket so you don't miss out.
