f2m: The boy within
One of the first questions asked when a baby is born is 'what sex is it—a boy or a girl?'
For some people it becomes clear very early on that they're trapped in the wrong body and those around them become very confused about their gender identity. Now the popular children's author Hazel Edwards has teamed up with family friend Ryan Kennedy to write a story for young adults about gender transition.
It draws on real life—on Ryan's own experience of being born male in a female body.
