Problems with the Green Loans scheme

The federal government's Green Loan program is designed to assist householders make their homes more energy efficient.

The scheme was to run for four years, but with the program just over six months old, serious claims of mismanagement have been raised.

Greens Senator Christine Milne is concerned it could wind up within months, leaving thousands of people, like Home Sustainability assessor 'Peter', out of work.
