It's going to be a big week for economic news this week, Wayne Swan releases the government's third intergenerational report today, the Reserve bank seems set to increase interest rates tomorrow and the government's handling of the economy is sure to dominate question time when parliament sits tomorrow for the first time this year.

Also this month we should finally find out what's contained in the Henry Tax Review.

So it's a good day to call in our two economists - Oliver Hartwich from the free market leaning Centre for Independent Studies and David Hetherington, from Per Capita which describes itself as progressive.
